This authentic issue, manufactured by Burgess MFG Inc. under a 1969 government contract, is made from 100% cotton poplin in OG-107 (Olive Green Shade 107), a deep, matte green chosen for its subtle presence in natural settings.
Officially designated "Coat, Man’s, Combat, Tropical", this is a fourth pattern example, the final iteration of the Jungle Jacket design. Key features include a concealed button front, adjustable cuffs, and angled chest pockets with drainage eyelets, all contributing to its lightness, ventilation, and ease of function.
This jacket is marked Medium Long, tailored for a chest size of 37 to 41 inches and height from 71 inches upward. A full specification label reads:

A proportion rarely encountered in vintage sizing, the Medium Long offers extended sleeve and body length while maintaining a trim, balanced fit.
