Crafted in a remarkable cloth woven from indigo yarn-dyed slub thread in Okayama, Japan, this shirt embodies both authenticity and character. Chainstitch detailing enhances its vintage appeal, while thoughtful design features set it apart.
The shirt includes asymmetric front pockets, a flap pocket with selvedge hem and a pen-holder pocket, along with a hidden button at the sleeve placket. The side seams are finished with selvedge gussets, and the neckband features distinctive zigzag stitching.
Each shirt is pre-washed and tumble-dried during production to help maintain its shape and appearance over time. With wear, the indigo cloth develops a rich patina unique to the wearer. Kenneth Field himself has worn his own example for over three years, experiencing minimal shrinkage (around 1.5 cm in body length) when following the recommended care of gentle hand washing and hang drying.
