Fox Khaki Teba Jacket Made by Justo Gimeno x Fox Brothers
A timeless men’s Teba jacket inspired by Sicilian elegance, made in Spain by Justo Gimeno using Italian-woven cotton from the Fox Khaki Bunch.
This Teba jacket draws its inspiration directly from a memorable evening at the opera in Palermo, Sicily.
“In late September, I attended a performance at the magnificent Teatro Massimo Opera House, preceded by cocktails on the opera grounds. I was pleasantly surprised by the dress code, a wonderful blend of genuine old world elegance and understated old money style.
One gentleman in particular caught my eye. He was wearing a Teba jacket that had clearly been enjoyed for many years. It possessed that beautiful patina that only comes from being worn regularly and cared for properly at the same time. The colour seemed perfectly suited to the Sicilian light, a rich olive tone with just the faintest hint of chestnut brown.
That jacket stayed in my mind long after the performance had ended and became the inspiration for this newly launched Teba jacket.
As it should be, the jacket is made in Spain by Justo Gimeno, a maker with a deep understanding of the Teba tradition and one of the finest names associated with this quietly elegant form of tailoring.
While Fox Brothers does not weave cotton, we are fortunate to work with friends in Italy who do. Together, we developed this cloth and matched its colour as closely as possible to my memory of that remarkable jacket worn on an unforgettable evening at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Sicily.
It is a jacket shaped by memory, travel and timeless style. A piece that reflects the spirit of British menswear heritage while honouring the relaxed elegance of southern Europe.”

The Justo Gimeno story began in 1885, when he travelled to Argentina and started training as a tailor. When he returned to Spain, he opened his first workshop at Zaragoza, the city where Justo Gimeno is still proudly operating today.
Since that time, Gimeno’s family have been creating high-quality, British inspired, casual and hunting garments.
Fox Brothers', the English woollen mill founded in Somerset in 1772, is acknowledged as the pioneer of exquisite woollen and worsted flannels throughout the past century. Fox remains dedicated to crafting fine cloth and worsted flannel.
According to style connoisseurs, when choosing flannel, “always be sure to ask for it (Fox) by name”.
