The M-65 Field Jacket : Olive Drab
Originally developed for the United States Armed Forces in the mid-1960s, the M65 Field Jacket has become a lasting symbol of functional, utilitarian design. Its reputation was earned in the field, but its influence has extended well beyond, adopted by civilians for its practicality and quiet confidence.
This vintage example is rendered in authentic olive drab, made from the classic cotton-nylon sateen that offers both weather resistance and a tactile, softened hand with age. True to specification, it features four spacious front pockets, a collar designed for a stowed hood, a full metal zip with storm flap, and internal drawcords at the waist and hem for adjustable fit.
Unmarked and understated, it showcases the form in its purest state. Free of insignia, yet rich in character. Whether worn over wool or paired with flannel trousers, its enduring utility and balanced proportions make it a reliable companion across seasons.
