Established in 1974, Guernsey Woollens continues a tradition that has been part of island life for centuries. Knitting on the island of Guernsey can be traced back to the fifteenth century, when fishermen relied on tightly woven wool garments for warmth and protection at sea.
Working from their workshop in St Sampson, Guernsey Woollens produces knitwear using 100% pure British wool, spun to their own specification. Each garment is knitted “on the round,” a method that creates a seamless finish and ensures both strength and comfort.
