When I think of a Fox lounge gown, it is completely luxurious, of course, but also a real heritage piece. A flannel that is made by Fox Brothers, who have been weaving flannel for 252 years, you are almost wrapped at home in history. The hand feel is incredible. It is a real benefit as well because it keeps you warm. It is that ability to turn down the thermostat a little more and wear a Fox gown like a warm hug.

One of the classic films, the original Italian Job, to be honest, there is only one, the original one. When Noël Coward is wearing a silk gown, it exudes that almost Englishness. It is almost how it is to be British, slightly eccentric, but also practical. You get up, put on your gown, and you lounge in it.

With the holiday season approaching, perhaps you are going to a dinner party. Adding a contemporary spin to classic black tie could be a pair of Bowhill and Elliott slippers. There are different embroideries for the toe cap, you may want to go plain, but there is something very special about a dinner suit, a black tie, with a pair of lounge slippers.
