WEIGHT: 370g / 400g, 13oz / 14oz
Having taken inspiration from the remarkable stone and rock formations found within Cheddar, Somerset. This quintessential cloth is ideal to craft Sport Jacketing at 370/400g, with its impeccable striking colours of blue, black, and yellow, featured on a light grey base.
It was only upon one fine autumnal, beautiful, and crisp day at Cheddar Gorge, where the colour combinations stood out so astonishingly within the stonewall, that we had to utilise those colourways within our next tweed pattern.
Cheddar Gorge is one of England’s most spectacular landscapes, located within the Mendip Hills. An area highly considered to be of outstanding natural beauty, at almost 400 feet deep, and stretching up to 3 miles long.
The gorge boasts spectacular natural textures, tones, and forms. Hypothesized to have started forming approximately over 1 million years ago, with running water produced from melting glaciers, which then devised a river. Overtime, this then started to curve into the limestone rock. The said River Cheddar Yeo, then gradually made its way underground, forming the famous Cheddar Caves, which ultimately produced the uniquely textured and steep cliffs that can be seen today.
